Noticed under the 92 a couple drops of oil in the garage. Only had it a couple months could have been building up. Only 26K miles but 21 years old. Any thoughts on what to check first.
Oil filter adapter bolts. Seems the FelPro gasket is a bit thinner than stock so the two bolts bottom out. I had to put RTV on the bolt threads to get them to stop dripping.
Although opti spark seal and water pump seals are the most likely if never changed. Had to change these as well. Did these first, and then found the oil filter adapter bolts.
If it is leaking out of the rear of the intake, would you expect to see the oil up forward on the cross member? Got a buddy on the forum who's '95 just started leaking up front. Looks like the front of the oil pan (or timing cover) leak to me. BTW, book says "4.5 qts" but local shop says "5 qts" oil. What say you C4 enthusiast? If it is over by 1/2, that could cause a leak as well, correct? Thanks!
