Default 1992/engine service soon light

how do I turn this light off , have reset the oil change light but this one keeps staying on

You don't.

The light indicates the computer has seen faults and has codes stored to show you what those faults are.
You are supposed to pull those codes so you know what is wrong

You can clear the codes by disconnecting the battery but if the problem is still present, the code will be recorded again and the light will come back on.
If the problem was intermittent or when you have fixed it, the light will stay off

Also, if it is intermittant, after a certain amount of test cycles, it will go off on it's own, but the code will be stored as a history code.
