New England Transmission in Willimantic. The guys name is Art Paradise. Specializes in the 700r4. Knows what upgrades to put in, shift kits. I paid $1200 to rebuild my 86, added clutches, servo upgrade and a trans go shifter. I got his name from a Corvette shop in Bolton. 860-450-0451 12 months or 12k guarantee. good guy. if you are close to Willimantic I would use him. he will fix it if he can without rebuilding, straight shooter in my opinion. good luck

For anybody considering a trans upgrade I suggest calling TransGo tech support (they don't have online tech support so you have to call). They can tell you who in your area does high performance trans work.
