For most people the solution will be the same : take to garage and have compressor replaced and system recharged.
Mechanically competent person may luck in and not have to replace entire compressor assy.

it depends on the year on what parts you can get. I had a hard time finding a clutch for my 88. It has been awhile but I do not think I found one and went with a complete compressor. And I have a lot of resources. I also belive the compressor was higher then most

The ones I worked on I could replace the clutch bearing.
