Who still does these things for the C4?
Karl Ellwein in southern Maryland can help you out. His motors put out solid power but better yet, he knows what he's doing.

Another vote for Jim(tpi421vette).
I have a 396 and a 421 built by Jim. He always answers all my questions and is easy to deal with. As I'm from Canada, shipping has never been a issue

No it will not bolt to the LT4 bell-housing, but Im sure there is an adapter plate for sale somewhere, and it will never plug to anything that is 15 years older.
Off the subject of the build, but great photo. I've had my bike there several times and am headed there Wednesday with the Vette. The Tail of the Dragon is an awesome ride.

Better late than never but another vote for Jim, TPI421VETTE, here. When(not if) i get ready to build another car in the future, and it utilizes a Chevy powerplant, Jim will be building it for me. Hands down best builder i have ever worked with on a personal and professional level!

I dont post too often but cant pass this one up buddy...

Jim Barth (tpi 421 vette) is not only just a good engine builder, but a great guy in general. Jim flew into Canada and helped me to sort out the bugs with the 421. I'll never forget pulling onto the highway with a 2nd to 3rd gear pull and looking over and seeing Jim with a smile as big as mine. The motor he build made torque everywhere and was enjoyable to drive.

I have since sold my C4 and C6 and will get back into it soon after my huge project is finished. But this time I am thinking of an LS3 based car with a power adder (no more C4 boys sorry). In saying that if I ever build another engine I wouldnt hesitate to call Jim.

Jim stayed at my house for a week with my family. I trust him like a brother and so should anyone else. One class act! But be aware. This big man can eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
