1. While sitting at the stop light, my car started dinging. No lights were on. Gauges were normal. Stopped when I took off. Only happend once.
2. How hard is it to replace the convertable top. Do I use my original glass? The fabric is fine, just coming undone at the edges and the glass is pulling loose from the edges.
3. Drivers door panel is loose at the top. Still fastened at the bottom. Hw do I get it off? Are there supposed to be clips at the rear edge?

1. Probably just a door sensor that was showing the door to be open.
2. You can do the top yourself, but you would have to buy a complete replacement top including the glass. At that point, it would be best to pay a professional to install it to get the best professional results. I replaced one that had a plastic window. Results were OK, but the top could have come out better if I paid a professional to do it. Also, a professional may be able to just fix the top you have.
3. There are a bunch of screws that hold the door on. A couple of them are hidden in the handle hardware. There was a good write up a couple weeks ago on how to remove the panel. Most likely the clips that keep the door panel on the door have a couple that are broken. If that is the case, you can either replace the door panel, or jerry rig something up to hold them against the door frame.
