1988 soft-top window adjustment
I don't intentionally take my Vette out in bad weather, so the top is usually down. But of course, sometimes you get caught out. When I put the top up and close the windows, in heavy rain I can get a leak at the top of the windows - this also happens at the local friendly hand car wash. It looks as though what I need to do is not only raise the glass by about 1/8", but also make it come in a bit further so that it makes better contact with the top weatherstrip, giving a better seal.
Can anybody tell me where the relevant adjustment points are, or point me in the right direction if there's a "how to" video posted anywhere?
Thanks in advance,
Richard

There are two things that limit how high the glass goes, one is a L shaped bracket that is towards the front of the door its is hidden.
The other is the "guide" which also limits how far the window goes up and also the angle of the glass. (the window regulator goes into the guide, which tilts the glass inwards at the same time)
See the image below that has the guide thing circled, two bolts hold it in place. Remember a small amount of change makes quite a big difference. The angle of the glass is adjusted by the bolt inside the door that is at a 90 degree angle to the others, a socket and ratchet can fit in the gap to loosen and tighten that.
It is an 85 diagram you will have a different window regulator but all C4s have that guide bracket .

Good luck
