Well after a long year gathering parts for the build I decided it maybe time to start a thread.
I can not express how much I've learned over my 3 years on here. Most of you will never know how much you've helped me over the years. Rarely had to even make a thread. The one forum member who has helped me most without a doubt has been Will (rklessdriver). One word comes to mind. Genius. Also wanna give a big thanks to Ron (Cuisnartvette) for soon to be working his magic on my Super Ram. Last but not least Jim Barth for the AFRs.

Original 350 block from my 89 will be getting dropped off at Indiana Musclecar shortly and taken to LPE for machine work. Now time for some pics...

Jim Barth built my 396 Super Ram with AFR 195s and a Crower 221/230 cam. Your setup is very similar. I think you'll be very happy with the results. One of these days I need to get Ron to port my Super Ram.

You have a solid selection of parts there that are going to build a very good engine.

I am happy that I was able to help and look forward to the results.

What's your CR? Don't go too high so you're good to go when you add boost!

Thanks for the replies. I hope its a strong runner. I know plenty of you are happy with similar builds which is why I went this route. CR should be about 10.7. No boost but never know what the future holds!!

Small world, isn't it? I'm in the process of having a recently built 383 stroker dropped back into my 92 C4. I used a number of the same components that you chose to run with ... slightly different head/cam package, but overall, quite a bit of the same stuff and similar numbers. Let us know how it works out for you. I hope to have some solid data to share over the next couple of months. Good Luck!!!

Sounds like somebody is gonna put some power down. Let us know what you end up with. Definitely a quality build!

Hoping for around 500hp at the crank and high 11s. I'm running an A4 with a 3200 rpm stall and 3.55 gears. Told the wife to expect a slightly belligerent and pi$$ed-off daily driver.
