These injectors flow 30 lbs/hr at 43.5 PSI . These should be plenty enough for your application. There is either something wrong with the injectors or more likely something wrong with the Tune. I would seriously have someone take a look at the tune. You are running too lean with no fuel correction at all.

So you suggest bringing it to a tuner.

Those are on the large side for a stock engine. Is it a 383?

Yes highly recommend getting the tune looked at. You will get the true potential of the engine and enjoy driving the car.

Bumping this thread to give it an update. Really disappointed. I brought it to a very reputable tuner, and he couldn't give me an answer on this lean issue. SO, I just dumped a few hundred $ on a dyno tune, fixing the lean issue, but the car is STILL stumbling and getting sub-par mileage. It must be me too, because when i swapped out the professional products tb for a bbk, the car felt STRONG and RESPONSIVE for like a week, then went back to normal and it's still the same. Weird. But what am I to do now??

If you have Scan9495, this will be easy to see. I think I only have 1 or 2 tries on Datamaster so I used this. It was only a couple minute drive but if you need something more let me know. I don't even want to drive this car now though. The car now does the opposite: first 2 minutes it's fine, and all after that its stumbling. It's really bad. Everything is out of whack at the same time, even the tps which is new! Something is not right and I don't think it's everything at once. New right bank 02 sensor, but the left does appear off. I have headers and only 2 are plugged in. There is an open connector on the right side. Is this right? I mean I only see a closed hole on the left side, but I think the tuner hooked his 02 on the right side...

The data seems corrupt. I tried reading it using Scan9495 as well as Excel and the data is all over the place. I think Scan9495 is for F-Body only.

bump again and i still dont know what scanner to use.
replaced driver spliced 02 sensor with acdelco unit. replaced all plug wires since a couple were burnt when i changed out the plugs. no change in stumble and mpg... i do notice however when i am on cruise control, i'll see random little spikes in mpg and then it will come back down. today i saw it jump to 41! im thinking about buying a reman acdelco MAF off ebay to see if that does it. granatelli on there now. i mean wtf else could it be?? i've replaced everything.

As I have mentioned previously, one of my suggestions was to investigate the operation of the Granatelli MAF If you can replace it with a stock MAF that would be a great choice.

well if anyone cares I actually bought a maf for the car. not much of a difference. i noticed the car is a bit peppier and my mpg fluctuates more, but thats about it. hard to tell if my mpg increased when it keeps fluctuating.

Hairy Bush (nice name by the way), I would recommend that you download a default tune. I have the exact same car. If you have a laptop and a cable I can help you. I could send the file to you and talk you through whats needed to be done. The software is free. are you willing to do this?

First I have never hear of disconnecting O2's to do squat. This came from your very reputable tuner.
Just thought your tune wasn't much of a tune after reading all these post from you. Sure I get changing the flow rates for the injectors but how can your engine be tuned if it has faulty component.
Never mind. Good luck.

Ok, CHAD. Help me understand what you are trying to do here. This is not a new problem for this car and I have already spend A LOT to try and fix it. So tell me what I would be gaining by going to the factory tune which I am not even capable of doing mind you. Because I would think, at that point, I would have it retuned, but from scratch. More $$ with an uncertain outcome. How can 2 tuners overlook this problem?
