ok, but this is what the catalog claims:
"Intake manifold mating surfaces are drilled and tapped for both Vortec and conventional raised port style manifolds. Vortec style manifolds are recommended".
Just trying to make sense of their claims and reasons for recommending the Vortec. I was thinking of using the fastburns next time around, but not if I have to scrap my Accel base.

$3496 + $125 shipping
Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center is a little more
$3595 + $185 shipping - But maybe I would trust them more if I go this way.
A local dealer - Best Chevrolet - lists it at $3496 to but I would have to pay %5 sales tax here in mass (guess that about equals the shipping charge) unless they want shipping to!
