Default 1990 corvette idle dropping away randomly

I have a 1990 corvette which has been supercharged. It will start and run fine but then randomly the idle drops away as if it is about to stall then its like the computer recovers itself (occasionally it stalls). This can happen with a cold or hot engine. The problem seemed to arise after I killed my coil and replaced with a new one ( was internally shorting under load - possibly my MSD6al killed it). Possibly it did something to the distrubutor or wiring when mucking around with this.

I have long tube headers with standard o2 sensor so have just ordered a heated one to avoid the open loop closed loop issue but probably clutching at straws.

No trouble codes and I do have the factory GM scanner.

Any ideas or other sensor that could cause this please?
