Corvette TPI No Start when Hot
Got a good one for you TPI guys. Eric walks you thru a bunch of stuff. He does a nice job finding this one.
Again those GM Multec 1 injectors are JUNK as we have seen. Lots of issues. This Corvette had a VERY similar issue to mine however my injectors NEVER failed the OHM test.
Enjoy.
Note: Made the thread title easy to find on a search for folks with issues.

Mine never failed the Ohm test either but that is because I never do that test. IMO, it is misleading at best if you get a good reading.

The ohm test is good for spotting injectors damaged by ethanol. The fuel runs through the injectors to cool them but the ethanol dissolves the insulation on the wire in the injector coils. Then they short together, which is easily spotted by the resistance test.

Unfortunately, the way it is used is to rule out injector issues which is what makes it misleading, IMO. Today, it is impossible to go for any length of time as a DD without running into ethanol which affects Multec injectors. Any car I get with them, I'd toss them before going anywhere personally.
