Default Dewitts radiator ? for 1996

So I have a slight leak on the drivers side tank after 20 years, I can't complain about that!
So I am looking at Dewitts double row radiator 1129090M but I want to know what modifications have to be made. I don't want to hack up my GS shroud. I have read that the shroud comes in contact with the fins on the radiator and that the shroud should be trimmed but this was for a 90 C4.
Anyone that has a Dewitts with an LTx engine I would appreciate what needs to be modified (not looking for an install procedure just the trimming/cutting for this radiator).
Thanks!

Call DeWitts direct and ask THEN verify what you were told by them here! The "before purchase conversation with them I believe first and most important" - confirm what they mention!!

The cooling module, upper and lower panels are '90+ and were maybe changed once during the production run. They (DeWitts - Tom DeWitt) have nothing or a reason to tilt the conversation for a one radiator purchase.

No problems in my 94, only had to trim the foam rubbers that hold the rad in the plastic but no trimming of the plastic.

I did their single-row direct-fit model on my 96 LT4. Dropped right in, I don't think I even had to trim the foam rubber bits. They claim it has 50% more cooling capacity than the stock unit, unless you're planning some extreme mods the dual-core is really not necessary. I have a PCMForLess tune on mine which turns the fans on earlier than OEM, my normal temps run around 210 in stop-and-go and drop below 200 on the highway.
