Default brake master cylinder

just curious - besides being a new and not rebuilt - does any one have any experience with cardone, centric or raybestos brake master cylinder? or even another brand that you trust?

bleeding the system does not seem to have helped the brake pedal hold.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Sean

I purchased a new raybestos master cylinder from rockauto in April. Seems like a quality part, pedal is hard and car brakes well. Hardest part of the install was bleeding the brakes. Just make sure you bench bleed the new master cylinder before installing.

Bought a brake best reman unit from oreillys earlier this year. Came with the bench bleeding kit. Looks like oem casting. So far so good. Better than the worn out unit it replaced. I bought a set of speed bleeders to bleed my brakes with. Makes the job soooooo much easier.
