Default Replacing the bulbs? in the Bose radio

Are there bulb(s) in the Bose that light up the time/station info panel, or is this part a sealed unit? If it's a bulb, is it hard to get at and replace? I don't want to take half the dash apart for something this minor.

That would be an LED I'm not sure you will find one "loose". Its possible it's a fuse but if segments were out before it went blank it's most likely within radio. You may want to contact AC Delco repair center for your options

I think there are backlight bulbs behind the LCD display. Backlit LCD's look a lot like LED types. But you would have to remove the radio to get to the bulbs. Not too easy. I see some C4 Bose radios for sale online that state that the backlight bulbs have been replaced. try shining a flashlight into the display and see if you can see faint number images. If so, the bulbs are burnt out.

There are replaceable bulbs - I've replaced mine. If experienced, easy but in my opinion quit a lot of work. You have to get the radio out (of course) and then remove many small screws to separate the radio facia from radio chassis. If I remember correctly, the bulbs were somewhat rare size (in Europe at least).
