Overdrive speed setting in chip?
I wanted to ask if it is possible to change the overdrive setting from 35mph to 50mph when going from 4th to OD?
So basically 50mph min speed before OD is allowed in 4th?
This is for a 1988 corvette. I used to tune my 86irocz and they had a 700r4 transmission which OD was controlled hydraulically. Now I thought these vette's had the same transmission, but a mate of mine said he has had it done in the chip.
I had a look at the ARAP bin and could not find such a setting but that is an 89 vette. I had a look at my old camaro bins and did not find this setting either.

A 700r4 is a 3 speed transmission with OD (4th gear). OD is completely controlled by the transmission. You might be able to change the shift MPH by modifying the valve body, but I don't know if that is possible.
