Default OK, I'm tired of figuring out an intake

Problem is my engine produces about 430hp to the wheels and revs to 7000. Track car. I use a 58mm TB which works fine with my temporary intake which is a 4" sewer pipe and a cone filter. My thought was make my intake from fiberglass and replace the stock tubing with larger tubing. The stock intake box has this small quentch point where it connects to the intermediate tube so I cut that out and was going to remake it. I also cut out the top of the radiator intake shroud so I take air from the bottom of the air box instead of the top.

now I'm just beat down with this engine. I'm ok about making fiberglass things but I started shaping a mold out of styrofoam and got about an hour in and was just done. I just don't care.

So I'm looking for ideas. Biggest problem is I have this wild idea that I want to keep my AC for sitting in the pits in all my racing gear and I still occasionally drive on the street. I've driven about 50 miles in last two years on the street and all were tuning runs for new engine. If not I would route a tube over to the right front of the engine bay under the headlight. There is so little space over the radiator that running tube over it is tight.

any ideas with minimal frustration? And that can supply the engine. 210cc AFR 383 over .620 cam gross lift, ported miniram 2. Lots of air. Stock box won't cut it. Just has to be functional not pretty.

How about a picture of the engine and engine area?

Since the engine has been modified, it would help if we could see what we are working with.

Default Solution for air

Bolt on this hood, it's in my backyard.. faux grill is removable. It will ram all the air you need

I thought about modifying my stock box but ended up starting over with sheet metal. I couldn't go thicker over the radiator so i went wider. I can now stick my arm down the 4 inch aluminum tube and touch the air filter. Uses the stock filter. I don't know how much HP it will support but it's enough for my ZZ430 clone with edelbrock pro-flo and ls1 throttle body.

Beyond leaning the radiator I think you have the best setup possible without cutting the front bumper or hood.
