1984 corvette power steering pump
Well I got the new pulley and tool to take the old one off cause the pulley was damaged and wobbling so I put the new one on and get the ps pump shaft flush with the pulley and it's still wobbling and grinding the bracket what could be wrong

From what you are experiencing, it sounds like (bad pun) the power steering pump shaft is bent, the bearings in the pump are shot or the pump has an internal failure. Is there play in the shaft when it is turned? Grinding when it is turned? Do you see any metal flakes in the power steering fluid?

No I see no flakes and no grinding sound and there is no play in the shaft it's when I put the pulley on it's like it's not goin on straight but that's the only way the tool will push it on then you spin it and it wobbles like crazy it wobbles no bad that it grinds the bracket connected to the alternator

ASSUMING you put the pulley on right, I have a sinking feeling the pump is bad. You may have damaged the shaft pulling it or the damage might have occurred at the point the pulley was damaged. It sometimes happens when you are doing a car install. I'd suggest a new pump with pulley.

Well the reason I got the new pulley is cause the first one was wobbling bad the old one started of with a squeak then I spray wd40 on it and it stopped then a few weeks later it started back I sprayed some more on it it that's when the pulley started knocking cause it was wobbling so bad here is a pic of my old pulley
