I did when i had the Autronic installed. But then the dash broke down on me. Then the speedo is a GPS unit from Speedhut because of the lack of speed output from the lenco

Are you happy with the 9"? Does it work ok as an allround car or do you mostly use it on the track?

/Svante
Very happy with the 9". I put it in as I wanted a reliable car to take to the drag strip. Right now its pretty much stock (LT1 with 4.11's, headers, and 1.6 Rockers). Best 1/4 mile ET 12.84. It still drives fine-Have driven it a few thousand miles.

I think you will be okay with the D44 as long as you don't dump the clutch with a high RPM and sticky tires.

I have a ProCharger to install-Just trying to learn about the tuning first. Then will install it. Will also be running it on e85.

Good luck with your build and thanks for posting!

Impressive build Svante!
Hope you will show at Mantorp in August for the annual CCS track meeting- we need more fast C4s!
I will have to fabricate an intake elbow for my blown C4 so Im interested to learn more about your intake plenum box. What is the wall thickness?

I´d love to go to mantorp, but its about 700kilometers away so by that time i have drained Sweden on E85

I try to have it ready with the turbos in place and dynoed until the 20´th of May, then they will run test and tune up here in north.

Sure ask away, you could send a PM and we can take it in Swedish

Cool project Svante, Whats the specs on the BW S366? T-4/74mm turbine 0.91 a/r turbine house?

Going to be cool to see where you put the turbos. I was thinking about trying the twin BW S366, but the one's with the 90 deg elbow built into the compressor housing.

That intake you built at home was a pretty sweet piece. Congrats.

Thank you Mike,
The turbos are BW 177281 0.88A/R single entry T4. The plan is to have them installed in a 45deg angle in front of the motor ( each corner ). I have moved the radiator/intercooler package towards the front of the car to make room for the turbos. The new radiator/fan cover is also slimmed down to make more room. On my old motor gen 1 355ci i ran a single S475 in front of the motor ( there is a build thread here at Corvetteforum ). But i think this will be a better setup and the turbos are further away from the radiator.

I miss the forced induction section too. Did you get the compressor installed?

Very cool buddy, I was thinking about running the BW 177284 turbo.

I've run them as a singles on 5.9 cummins trucks. They spool pretty decent and make awesome power.

What S475 you run? I also was considering the S480/T-6 96, just cause I have one. Curious on how it ran in the car? I want a hard hitting turbo, as when the turbo came to life I would know it.

Just left overs from previous builds.

yes, the compressor is installed. It feeds two airtanks with a total of 3.5gal volume. It works fine the small test i've done on the road so far

I ran the S400SX4-75 1.32 A/R T6. At the beginning i had it rear mounted and it was a pig. Then i front mounted it and it was great. I dynoed it 808rwhp and 885rw lb-ft, but that was the maximum the turbo could deliver. I have a small youtube clip how it was on the street. It was dark outside so the video is terrible, but you can get a feel how it spooled, the tires are street legal semi slicks so there was a lot of wheelspin during this run.

Wow what a fun ride, looks like around 2500-3000 rpm (hard to tell from the vid) that turbo just takes off.

Thanks for the info.

Sure I would like to see what ever pictures you have. What you think about the lenco transmission? I didn't even think about using a lenco. Curious on hearing what you say. I'm not sure on which transmission I want in my car right now.

here you have a couple of pictures from the single turbo setup. The Lenco works ok, but you can tell it's a race transmission ( no comfort at all ) but on the other side it can take a lot of beating. It shifts clutchless at 0.1sec with the air valves. Another issue is the lack of enginebreaking. It freewheels on all gears except the final.

Wow very nice build. The new 5.3 is going to be a killer build. Wow I'm impressed that there are decent C4 LS turbo builds on this forum. Keep the new pics coming.

You going to use a dual inlet and single outlet inlet intercooler. Looks like you can weld aluminum pretty decent.

Thanks Mike, i was just thinking of making a 2-1 pressure pipe from the turbos! I will post pictures as soon as i start installing the turbos. I hope it will make some power
