FYI, they make replacement LED bulbs that will fit in the door panel light and under the hood, at least for the '93. Much brighter and don't look too obnoxious like some brighter bulbs do. These are a direct replacement and I think I got about 10 of them for $10 on ebay.

C4 Corvette Passenger Side Courtesy Floor Light Bulb Change
The FSM textual description about how to remove the C4 Courtesy floor light covers was very helpful. This is a picture of my 1994 C4 passenger side courtesy floor light cover and bulb after I used a flat head screwdriver to pry it out as described. The plastic is pretty thick around the edges so don't be afraid of breaking it. It was snug but once I got it started and worked around the various edges it popped right out. I replaced both floor lights with LEDs and I'm really happy with the extra light and the difference it makes in the overall night time look. The convertible top storage bay in the rear cargo area uses the same bulbs and the same method for prying the plastic light covers open. I replaced them as well. I bought 4 LED bulbs on Ebay for $2. I just did a search on 562 LED bulbs to find them.
