Original 19 lb Bosch injectors work with super ram and 1.7 RRs?
I bought a c4 with super ram. It had been sitting in a garage for a couple of years. I have been fixing a few things. It had a cold air system that cracked I remove it and replaced it with a stock unit. It has a few other minor issues. It appears that one of the injectors has a leak down problem. I tried running sea foam in the tank and it did seem to help a little. It starts fine in the morning and then can be hard to start after sitting a few minutes. It acts like it's flooded with gas. If I wait till the gas evaporates it will start and run fine. So, I'm tinkering with it and trying to get it in good shape. My question is: I have the original injectors, plenum and runners. I like the super ram. Can I install the original injectors? I understand that the previous owner also installed 1.7 roller rockers. and a 52mm throttle body. It has loud exhaust and the pipes are much larger than stock. It's fast and a nice car. Sorry for the long post.

Just a thought but if clamping the return line holds pressure the problem is between the clamp and pump. If you clamp the supply line it is between the clamp and the regulator

I didn't see the year of the car, but stock injectors probably would've been 22lb/hr for your car.
But yeah, it should work fine. You likely have one injector stuck open. Try hooking up a fuel pressure gauge at the rail, start and run the engine, notice the pressure reading. It will probably be in the mid 40s. Cut the engine off, and see if it holds, gradually drops over a few minutes, or drops like a rock. If it drops like a rock you know one injector has failed.

replace all of them, cleaning never seems to work out
If they are getting goofy when the engines warm time to throw some new ones in

Define "cleaning". Running lotions and potions through the fuel or injector rail? I agree with you. Taking them out for professional work on a bench, I disagree. Multecs? Trash can.
