Default L98 Plug wires (Taylor)?

Question for the guys that have Taylor spark plug on their L98 cars. What Taylor part number did you use? Did you change to the re-numbered distributor cap? Any problems with the #6 and #8 plug clearance? Anything I've missed?

PS This is a Super Ram car also.

Thanks,
Glassman89

I've installed taylor wire set on several L98 cars. the part number was 74009 (spiro-pro, 8mm silicone, black). not sure what you mean by "change to the re-numbered distributor cap" - ??? I did not have any plug clearance issues with #6 or #8, as #6 will have the 135° boot. for the most part, taylor wire sets fit very well with the factory routing scheme. if you are installing on an aluminum head L98, there is a bracket the guides and separates the wires at the RH rear cylinder head. reference these threads - good info on wires and lengths, and some pics -

I also use 8mm Taylor wires and have a SR. This is on my list to do as mine are all over the place.
