Default Service ASR light

Just wondering what the most likely problem might be that would cause the "service asr" light to come on in my '96. I had a check done at Advance Auto Parts, but no error came up involving the asr system.

Mine came on the other day also after some "spirited" driving home. Shut it off when I got home, came out later to put in garage and light was off.
Curious to know why it came on also.

Mine was on as soon as I started the car after it had been sitting for a few days. Then, strangely enough, yesterday when I started it, the light was off.

Make sure your brake fluid is full.

Brake fluid is full up. The light was off last Friday, today it was back on. Will have to look at the info sent by bac22.

I have seen suggestions that say to fill BF reservoir to top. MY service lights just came on. Checked and BF is to max level. Do they mean to the top of the reservoir?

It's that stupid little "sensor" thing sticking out the side of the brake fluid reservoir. It was removed in later revisions (my 95 doesn't have a low fluid warning sensor).
