Default hard to swap the reverse switch on a 4+3?

Hi everybody, I have a 4+3 and I have diagnosed my no-reverse/rear marker lights issue to a failed reverse switch.

Is this something relatively easy to do or do i need to pull the slave cylinder as i read the zf owners are required to do?

I also ready that the detent ball typically gets a groove in it and one quick fix is to rotate the detent ball and it will possible be a short term fix until the replacement arrives in the mail.

thnx.

NO
it is nowhere near your Clutch, The Reverse switch is by your Reverse shifter arm on the O/D Unit Adapter Plate

I believe a 7/8" crows foot wrench on a long 3/8" extension will get the job done. It's kinda tight around the reverse light switch.

Limited space makes a Crows Foot the best Tool.
