Anyone know if 87 & 89 carpet is interchangable?
The only visible difference I can see is in the rear speaker grills of the 89 having an extra hole for the bass reflex. Also 87 does not have carpet on the door sills.
I have an 89 and an 87 near by is being parted and it has the black carpet I wnat to switch to from the shot camel that is in it now.

If your question is if "the carpet on the floor will interchange" the answer is yes. If you question is will the whole interior (doors, rear compartment, speakers) carpet pieces interchange the answer is "mostly."

There will be nuances from year to year.

For $50 for good used complete carpet I'll go for it. Mainly just need both front floors anyway.
