Open your passenger door and look at the side of the dash. There is a cover there over the fuse panel

OP - for an '88 there should be the fuse box on the end of the dash (passenger side) as mentioned and also an AUX BOX behind the center of the dash also.

Default Fuse box Gremlins in my 1988

Hello, The guys above are correct about the location of the fuse panels. The one behind the dash is small but important. It is just not the easiest to get to.

If you are having problems with your electrical systems in your '88 try cleaning the fuse block connectors. Mine had some kind of corrosion form between my contacts and the fuses. My fuses all "looked" good but they were not passing any current. I cleaned the terminals with a point file and a small flat head screwdriver with a piece of Emory cloth. Then I sprayed them with contact cleaner and suddenly everything came back to life.
Moisture from the proximity to the window is likely the cause.

I hope that this helps a bit. If you have any other 1988 issues feel free to PM me. I have the Corvette "Factory Service Manuals" (FSM) for the year of 1988.

Good Luck!
