Lowering kits....
1987 Vette and would wish to lower the rear some. I loved the pics of some of the lowered Vettes on the site and I wanted to know what did you guys use???? I have some magazines that have lowering kits in them (i.e. Ecklers, MAD). Will these kits be useful and are they recommended?? How much should it be lowered (If I have a choice)????? Would I be able to do it myself or does it have to go to a shop?

I have the MAD kit but only lowered the rear about 1 1/4"; it looked so good that I just stopped there. The job took only about 1hr.
To do the front you need to remove the front spring and do some mods so it takes considerably more resource than lowering the rear.
