Default car dies after doing a donut....

Weird problem I have been having. When I try to spin out and do a donut it will do about a 180 degree turn then completely shut off..... Yes I have full tank and yes traction control is off... But it starts right back up and run like nothing happen. Any ideas where I can begin to diagnose ?

if you are doing donuts in a clockwise position, then try counterclockwise! See if that makes a difference!!!

true...very true!

have you checked the anti donut modules and sensors yet as suggested???

Does it do it both in counter clockwise and clockwise rotation??

Video tape it for us and and let us see for ourselves!

Try it in reverse as well and see if it can slide the front tires out. I hate to see a Vette die out under a killer slide...

Good point KC.

Lets think about what you're doing here. Spinning the car senselessly to make smoke and noise.
Not running a road course or driving the car as it was designed to do.

I'm with QZRBLU

Coffee. I'm sure that's the problem. I cannot do donuts without coffee. Occasionally milk, but coffee should fix it right up.

The other thing is that you have wound it too tight in one direction. Take it to a parking lot and do circles (no spin) in the opposite direction you do donuts. Once you unwind it, it should be back to the way it was.

Your G-Force sensor may be stuck. Push the "G" button (center of steering wheel) and the "A" button (12:00 position) simultaneously.

See illustration below...

Good luck !!

Lets start with the basics. Spark and fuel. So lets tape a fuel pressure gauge on the glass and run the car. Take the hose off the FPR to simulate WOT conditions and see what it does for pressure.

Take a vacuum cap and cap off the nipple on the manifold the hose came off and do a WOT run. Lets see if it can keep up the pressure. After that, go home and shut down. Lets see if it holds pressure.

If that is good, do the donut in one counterclockwise and see what the pressure does. I would have someone strapped in and observe if you can't put a go-pro camera on it. Do it clockwise and see if it does the same thing. If it dies in one direction, maybe you have fuel sloshing around and it does do that for whatever reason?
