Accelerator pedal tight when engine on
The accelerator pedal is not loose and not tight when engine off, but when engine is on the accelerator pedal gets tight
is this normal?

1st welcome. 2nd it would help to know year and model info as even among C4s there are lots of differences.
One possibility is worn bushings in the throttle body. it only causes a problem when running because the intake vacuum pulls at the throttle plates. If that's the case replacing the bushings in the throttle body fixes the problem.
