Default Heads & Cam time (LE2) opinions

I should get my heads and intake back in a couple of weeks and I had some questions/recommendations on supporting parts. The car is a '96 A4 with 3.07 gears, I plan on 3200 Vig TQ and shift kit.

I was able to clarify the 48mm vs 58mm throttle body from Lloyd (earlier thread). A 48mm is fine for my application, a 58mm would perform better after 5K+RPMs.

Here are supporting parts recommended by Lloyd:

Lunati rocker arms
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lun-15345-16

Lunati pushrods
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lun-7034-16

Lunati Timing chain
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lun-92128

Trickflow injectors
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-89030

They all look like good options and I was curious about the injectors, I've seen post about a vendor who sells rebuilt ones. Should I look into those or are the new trickflows good.

Thanks in advance for your input and opinions

P.S. - so excited, long time coming

Well you really need a reprogram/tune for your new combo. And if you change injectors it will be manditory just to keep the engine running. Myself I would begin with stock injectors and dyno tune with those first as you can easily increase the fuel pressure with a bolt on adj regulator and make corrections for injector pulse width in the tune - rather than spend for expensive injectors.

Make sure you check rocker arm and p-rod clearances when you assemble the valve train. Rocker arms need to clear the valve spring retainer and the p-rods need to move smoothly in their guide slots (whatever you use) and not drag.

Hope this helps and let us know how it all works out.

I planned on using PCM4less or Moe Bailey(Lloyd recommended him), maybe a dyno tune in the future, but not one close (N.NJ) that I know of

personally, where there's been machine work and mixing and matching of parts, I'd first spend $15 and get an adjustable pushrod checker and verify that the oem length 7.050 pushrod is going to give you satisfactory valve train geometry; if not, you'll know what custom length pushrods you'll need to order.

Are the rockers self-aligning, if not is LE installing push rod guide plates?
