I just got a 94 w/ new alternator and valve covers. Everything was running good. Got it from my grandfather. Now it is stalling when trying to crank and when I do crank it it just cuts off after 2 minutes. I was driving and it shut off on me as well. I felt a pull on the highway then saw the engine soon light come on. Has anyone had this problem or know a solution?

It could be a number of issues so I suggest you check to see what codes are being generated. A failing opti spark can explain a number of your symptoms but it should generate some codes. Good luck.

I trying to get it looked at.
Drove it from Alabam to Atlanta, Ga though about 3 hours because of bad weather and it drove like a champ. Go to Walmart and it cuts off on me.

Mechanic says it’s the ignition switch, ought to be getting it bridged tommorrow. Though it cranks on a dime on 3rd or 4th try and runs like a champ.
