Default Technical question on cams and rockers

I have an sbc in my garage I plan on following the Superchevy build that many here have. I will follow it fairly closely to try and get the same results. I bought the exact cam from that build and I will be buying a stroker kit soon. I noticed that they continued with stock rocker arms. I was thinking, if I am going to build a complete motor I should change the rocker arms and push rods too. The engine in my garage came out of an old k5 blazer.

The real question is is their a reason why they kept stock rocker arms? Should I go with the traditional upgrade of 1.6 roller rockers? Or will it have problems with that cam?

Also if you guys have any suggestions on this motor swap it will be much appreciated.

What I read said they used 1.5 roller rockers. It may be that the factory heads don't respond well to 1.6 rockers.Valve spring retainer clearance and/or valve cover clearance issues.

being as he lift is under 500 just make things easy and do the stock 1.5 rocker arms. Going full roller rocker 1.6 isnt worth it $/gain

I was going to ask a question about the valvetrain parts. I'm getting the le2 package from Lloyd Elliott with a hotcam type cam and I need to pick up pushrods, studs, roller rockers and lifters.
At this point I'm targeting lunati parts, but any suggestions would be appreciated.
My car is a 96 A4 getting 3.07 gears, LT headers and a 3200 vigilanti or Yank TC.
Thanks

Lloyd is a wealth of information. Call him, if you haven't. I have a 1994. I went with Lunati parts. Voodoo 1:6 full roller rockers, hardened pushrods, lifters. Measure pushrods carefully, though. Mine were quite a bit diffrent length from stock, but I can't remember exactly the length, I think maybe I ended up with 7.00" I went with lunati cam 227/234, .575, 110LSA. Ecxellent vacuum with this cam, some guys seem to have issues with a cam of this duration, but I was fine. I still have my 3.07 gears with 3000 TC, but I'm ready to install a Dana 44 with 4.11 With the 3.07 around town, when it shifts into 4th, there is some surge. Not a crisis, but enough that I don't put it in drive in town. Good luck. It's a ton of fun.
