In my opinion....the 'mass backed' carpet has the sound deadener made into it.

But knowing that the transmission/side console plastic strips with carpet on them do NOT have any sound deadener on them.

havnt had a chance to spray the underside yet as I am combining it with general cleanup of the undercarriage and I wont be spraying until that is completed.

i did not touch the seams. not worth the time and wouldnt want to disrupt the integrity of the bond or adjacent smc panels.

Once again, I'm thrilled with the results.

To the member who PM'd me about the electrical wires at the brake pedal, I'll try to get the requested photo when I am back at the car in a week!! Sry it couldnt be sooner.

Cheers, VT.

You should be happy with the results...you did a great job...and heck...my opinion means nothing here...because if YOU are happy with it...that is all that matters.

I know that the feeling of ACCOMPLISHMENT can be quite overwhelming at times.

wow what an awesome transformation VT.

I guess I have to get my lazy butt out to your place one day and give you a hand on the frame.

The only reason why I asked about the ls swap, I saw a 2013 6.2L gmc sierra side roll over on kijji for $4200. Would have made a awesome swap engine. The truck was gone by the time I got a hold of the guy.
