Window Tint Cost
Window tint is one of those things that I don't do myself. I don't have the skillset for it, so I'll take it to a pro to have it done right.
That said, my '85 needs some tint-that big back window turns this car into a greenhouse on a hot day.
I took it in and they quoted me $230 for side windows and the hatch (nothing on windshield). That seems a little bit high to me, but I wonder what others experience has been? Shop says it's because that back window is a b*tch, and I can believe that. I've just had 4 door cars done for $150 including a windshield strip, so $80 more feels like a lot for what is, overall, less window.

I have a 96 Coupe with rear window defroster. I have my sides and back window done for $140. High quality tint, quality job by professional. No issues with my rear defroster.

The side windows aren't especially easy on these cars either. They have a compound curve to them and double seals that can be difficult to get under. A friend did mine for $90. (all 4 glasses) without the friends discount. He didn't have a lot of trouble with the sides but the back glass had him pissed. It had been years since he had dealt with that big 90's GM back glass that they used on Camaro's, Firebirds, and Corvettes. He thought he had advanced enough in his skills to 1 piece it. He's been tinting for almost 30 years. He was sorely mistaken. He tried several methods but couldn't get the tint to shrink enough to make the corners. After 3 failed sheets I got a 3 piece back glass. The heater lines cover the joints nicely.
