Lowered Rear Suspension Geometry? Camber Gain?

I'd think the OP is or should be considering only a coil-over arrangement but this is interesting.

Melting Slicks
I lowered my Z51 about 3/4" and found, for street driving, I'd want no lower for the usual obstacle, like driveway entrances, speed bumps, et. al. One evening, when forced to back over a 1" (or so) metal raised device, it pulled the slide-clamped exhaust Y-pipe apart from the mid pipes.
With 315/35x17s in the rear and stiff suspension, the inner wheel wells were hammered by the tires. I'd learned long ago to slow way down for road dips.
Low is cool, to a point, but can make the daily driving less than fun.
Cool project!

BTW, if nobody has written this already, I hope we get some good pictures of the finished project, along with more in-progress pics as well.
