There should be 4 or 5 phillips head screws holding them on.. You need to get on your back to see them... WW

Thanks for that. Found the ALCL connector I have been looking for . It was tucked behind the radio. I have spent many hours looking for it. Now perhaps I can sort long running problem with C 4 Corvette.

The carpeted piece(s) is held on with two fairly large bolts (1/2", if I recall correctly) and some miscellaneous screws. The dash plastic curves inward at the top and "captures" it, so you have to move it around to get it out.

All sorted now thank you. Can anyone tell me what colour the wire is that connects the head temperature sensor to the digital dash. The sensor is on the left hand head when viewed from the front of the car. The car is a 1988 C 4.

I have sorted the bad running issues with my C 4. Turned out to be the ECU. Fitted a replacement unit and car is now running great again. Can anyone with a 1988 C 4 please have a look to see what colour the wire is that connects head temperature sensor to digital dash. Thanks .

Thanks for that. So if I cut into the wire that connects to D4, and run the wire to the head sensor that should solve my problem, is that correct ?. Does the D3 sensor ground have any bearing on what I am trying to sort?.

Connector pin corroded or dirty an the plug. Whenever I took out the digi dash I cleaned the connectors big time.
Wire broken between connector and sensor.
The wire travels down underneath into the alt loom I think
Good Luck
