Hatch Glass Switch Inop.
1995 Corvette. Hatch Glass will not open using driver’s side door switch or button on key fob. Want to check fuse first. Where is it located? Then go from there. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Important I believe to ask if latch release operates from console. Yes/no? AT or MT - if you have console operation I believe it safe to assume the fuse ain't bad.
Fuse is #45 - lower right in box. Bottom row next to circuit breaker stack.
Do you have the FSM?

Hey Dave, Thanks for the info. It is a 1995 Corvette with auto trans. Didn’t know it has a hatch release in the console. I will try it and see if it works. I do not own an FSM for the car.

Do you have that?
If not it's here free from GM, you do NOT need to establish an account to acquire the Owners Manual

Thanks for the info. While sitting in the car last night engine off interior lights came on and went off several times. Bad driver’s side door ajar switch? Thanks.

Opened passenger side door only. Courtesy lights are on. Pulled hatch fuse 25 amp. Fuse looks fine.

If you are not hearing a click, you need to check the connectors at the relay and solenoid for power. Have fun crawling back there to get to the emergency release cable.

Can you tell me where the relay and solenoid are located for the hatch glass release?

Looks like the culprit may be the driver’s side door switch. Anyone know where I can purchase one of these good quality at a good price?

Thanks, didn't know that. Cost cutting I guess. Makes faulty switch diagnosing more difficult. I use mine often when I am in the staging lanes on the passenger side and want to pop the hatch to check or fill the tires.
