Default Anybody still sell intakes for the l98 c4?

Im looking at getting a c4 but am a little consernd about the modabilaty of the l98 i know the lt1 is easyer when it comes to mods and i might endup going that route if i can find one in my budget but l98 cars are usually cheaper i know the only real major issue with the l98 is the intake and at one time several companies used to sell intakes to fix this issue but now it semes like nobody makes them any more dose any one know of a company that still sells intakes for the l98

not sure anything is still in production. today, all that stuff goes for big money on fleabay. recently saw a TPIS system go for $1350 and a NOS edelbrock high flow tpi intake manifold (#3860) with runners for over $800. it's just my 2-cents, but building HP in an L98 is going to come at a price.

miniram is still listed on the TPIS website at just under $900 which from memory is what it cost about 10 years ago

sorry, my bad - it was an accel TPI super ram that sold for $1350 ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/85-92-Camar...JZh7Qb&vxp=mtr ). was not aware the TPIS system was still available. besides the intake, you'll need the additional fuel rail kit for another $400. bang for the buck horsepower - still a little pricey IMO. start adding up an intake, heads, headers/exhaust and throw in a cam, miscellaneous parts and a little labor, and that HP pricing starts to get a little crazy -

Yes definitely adds up, especially if you cannot do any of the labour yourself.

The only real difference between the two is the additional intake you will need to purchase for the L98. If you buy a 1989 to later L98 6-speed or a 1992 or later LT1 buy the car that you like the best, and either can be modified to hit the 400 RWHP number.

Superrams are not being made but the MR and HSR still are around, HSR requires modification to fit under the stock hood.

Eldebrock has a new manifold design for the L 98 they are selling. I think its 500 bucks, check Summit racing. I have a new Sldebrock manifold and runners, sost me 1,000 bucks (for both)a few years ago. Never used but cant remember if I bought the vortec or standerd version. Still haven't used them
