Default Ground strap C4 ‘94 lt1

Hello! Been a member for a long time. I usually find answers just searching this awesome forum. Today I tried to replace a bad body ground strap on my C4. Jacked the car up to get the bolt on the back of the engine and I can’t get the bolt undone. It’s very hard to get to even with the car jacked.

Does anyone know how to get this thing off? I think it’s a 15mm?

Never tackled the task but I'd think if it were me I'd remove the left rear wheelhouse and do it over the frame rail. I'd think it a practical approach and a very good excuse to do the grounds on top of the frame rail beneath the battery tray.

*I assumed you're at the side of the block above the oil filter @ oil temp sensor. On an LT1 there's also a couple that are @ the converter bracket I believe and that likely wouldn't work well for those, but maybe!

I’m chasing the strap in this video. Idk if removing the wheel house would help

These are the only 2 grounds LR on engine I'm familiar with.

G106 & G107 -----G101 & G102 are on the rail below the battery tray.

Excellent diagram. G107 is the one I’m working on. Do you have a diagram of the wheelhouse? Maybe I’m being obtuse...
