Wiper Motor's C-4 1989 convertible
Driver's side wiper is now only moving partially
I suspect the motor > are both side the same wither motor?

The motor only has one arm that connects to both wiper linkages. Try pushing down on the arm where it connects to the cowl. It may be the arm slipping on the post that drives it.

Each wiper arm/blade is individually adjustable. There are slots in the wiper motor arm (under the access cover adjacent to the driver side arm) for each linkage. If the nuts have gotten loose for the problem side, the bolts will slide back and forth in the slots, and the travel of the arm will be reduced.
Adjust the arms with the motor in the PARK position.

OP - this is the vicinity that 'IHBD' is referencing.
Do you have the FSM (Factory Service Manual) for your '89? It's somewhat unusual for the wiper transmission to actually fail BUT it's certainly not unheard of.
