Default Wiper Motor's C-4 1989 convertible

Driver's side wiper is now only moving partially
I suspect the motor > are both side the same wither motor?

The motor only has one arm that connects to both wiper linkages. Try pushing down on the arm where it connects to the cowl. It may be the arm slipping on the post that drives it.

OP - this is the vicinity that 'IHBD' is referencing.

Do you have the FSM (Factory Service Manual) for your '89? It's somewhat unusual for the wiper transmission to actually fail BUT it's certainly not unheard of.
