Default Clutch pedal went to the floor and no clutch!!!!

I am looking at buying back a 96 that I sold a few years ago. I was going to look at it this morning and my buddy called me and told me he went to start it and the clutch pedal went to the floor and no clutch. It was a little low on fluid in the reservoir but not bad.

The car was last driven about 3 weeks ago and was fine when parked.
What are your thoughts? Slave cylinder?

Thanks,
Shawn

You could try to bleed it and see how much fluid burps out. Most of the time both the clutch and slave cylinders are replaced together.

Once they get air in the system takes a good bit of pumping or better get under it and bleed the slave.
If he heard a pop when he depressed the clutch could be in the throw-out assembly arm or pivot.

That happened to me 2 months ago, look under the dash drivers side and see if the clutch peddle arm is still connected to the rod that goes threw the firewall On mine the little clip fell off
