86 1986 headlight motor keeps running and grinds when closed.
The R HL motor grinds and keeps running, when the HL bucket reaches THE CLOSED POSITION. Up works fine.
I searched and viewed all old threads, the "links" to the solutions are no longer valid.
Help please, thanks.

Safety Car
The gears in your motor are stripped. They are available from any of the Corvette aftermarket sources. Be sure you get the '84-'87 gears. The later model C4 gears are different. The plastic gears are economical, and will last a long, long time!
