1994 Climate Control
My 1994 corvette Climate Control Buttons work when I initially start car, and do not respond after a few minutes. It's not a bad blower because I can manually change blower speeds for those few minutes, but afterward all but after those few minutes all buttons fail to respond.

Before tearing into anything, try simply pushing on the face of the unit to ‘freshen up’ some of the contacts on the back that the face pushes into.
these contacts seem to develop a layer of oxidation that interferes with the conduction between the prong on the face and the solder traces inside the receptable

Follow the video!!!!!!!!
I had to do this DAY 1 with my 94. Same problem.
TIP 1.... You do not have to remove the bolts in the center console. If you take out the vent with a Torx 18 bit. I think he says Torx 20 but I used an 18 you can then get the plate that covers the radio and climate control to pull back very gently and get in there to get the climate control out.
I followed this video and went very slowly and in 2 hours everything was working perfectly and almost a year later is still working perfectly.
TIP 2.... Clean both sides of the contact. Clean the circuit board and the black little disc that makes contact with it. I don't think the video covers this but definitely clean both sides of the contact.
TIP 3.... While you are cleaning go slow and take your time. We used very soft pencil erasers and then Q-tips with rubbing alcohol and cleaned them for what felt like 10 X's longer than necessary. If you are in there you might as well do a good job.
This guys video is great. Best of luck!!!!

I have tried the cleaning method.
I still have the same issue. When I turn the key to run or start the car everything works for about 2 minutes. At that time the controls stop responding and the blower motor goes to it's lowest speed. If I have the AC on, (it's 90 degrees and 90% humidity here) the compressor continues to operate and I do get cold air from the vents but with only low fan speed it is not very helpful.

No difference. After about 2 minutes the blower speed goes to it's lowest setting and the buttons no longer respond. Whatever setting it was on is what I am left with. The indicator lights are still lit and the outside temperature display is still functional and changes with the outside temperature.
