My gauges (analog and digital)..recovery machine.....recovery tank.(previous picts a few years back).

Yeah, I know.....Gonna do a heater core bypass valve also. Even though the heater may be "off", I have done that to past vehicles and works well.

Sometimes one could get "residual/radiated" heat in the heater/evap box even though heater is off and this eliminates that completely...Just open it back up during winter and it works normally.

UPDATE;

Well, in between long periods of rain that are lasting 2+weeks, I dragged out my recovery tank and gauges and started siphoning off the excess refrigerant as mentioned previously.

I did this in short bursts and let system stabilize, playing with the pressures/evap temps until I could get them as low as I could w/out freezing the evap and, with this high humidity, that was no short task. The gauge readings came down nicely.

I don't know how much I took out and I will have to weigh the tank to determine this. Accumulator tank sweating "nicely" but, will still have to wait until I get this back on the road and test this in the typical temps of 92 - 96* here in Florida. I still have to repair bad brake line(s) going to abs near LR wheel.
