that's a start. I like the staggered look. I'm not looking for the exact same wheel just the dimensions most importantly back spacing.
thanks for the help. As a new owner I have a lot to learn about my dad's vette. We lived about 16 hrs apart.
this forum is massive and I'm already getting lots of help.

HRE 441R's brushed finish with clear powder coat, Fronts 18x9.5 with Bridgestone RE050A 275/35/18's , rears 19x11 with Bridgestone RE050A 305/30/19 (102Y). They are made for a C5 so I use a 1/2''(may have used a 1/4" also) spacer at the rear. I don't recommend the Bridgestone RE050A 305/30/19 (102Y) on a C4, they are the widest 305 I've seen and you may have problems with them rubbing. FWIW I almost never use the 18/19 set up on my C4.

DRM LT1 383 , 400rwhp/tq

Light weight flywheel & Spec stage 2+ clutch
DRM Wilwood front brakes , stock calipers with 13" rotors on the rear

Thanks for the fast reply. Super helpful.
Do you recall the back spacing? I'm looking at different brands.
DRM coilovers & bushings? Lower, stiffer?
that'll be next on the list along with custom pipes.
I'll send you pic when I figure out how

Default Coil overs

[QUOTE=Poprocks;1597175396]
OK wow. You've got that thing low. Did the coil overs do that? Is there a specific Part description? You eliminate the leaf, yes? How stiff is the ride? Do you bottom out on the street?
I REALLY like my wheels but they stick out a little past the fender and now I'm rubbing the outside of the rear fenders when I bottom out . I used the same outside diameter or a little less than your set up here.
Shocks are 25yrs old. So those go on this weekend. They are coil over ready if and when needed.

here are a couple links to get started.

https://www.willtheyfit.com/

should find using links above that the rims/tires you purchased will end up sticking out a bit more.

cheers, tell the story of your vette more when you have a chance!

Poprocks, I'm guessing your rear wheels are 10" wide? If so, your best bet is to have about 7.5" backspacing. You could use anywhere from 50-56mm offset to get in that range and your tires would fit inside the fenders just fine.

Im looking at the same wheels.ESR RF02 9.5 x 18 The ones Im checking out have +35mm offset but I see some have only +15 in the same wheel. Do you know what your offset is? I am considering putting 285 on all four wheels at +35 offset do you think I will have protrusion issues like you do? Is it a bad thing? I would think the wheels would fling dirt up all along the side of the car. Also the center bore is bigger on the wheels than the hub so hub centric guides would have to be used to get the wheel centered on the hub. I love the wheel, I inquired into a gloss black set from ESR directly. Waiting to hear back from them. Beautiful wheels though. I dont see why they should stick out so much. You have 295s on there. Some guys have 315s on the back with 50mm offset and its nearly flush. Stock is 285 with 56mm offset and there is room to grow.

that will they fit is a great site. Thanks for posting the link. According to it his wheels are poking out 27.4 mm further than stock if his offset on the new wheels is +35mm. Hoping to hear back from Poprocks as to what offset he actually has. It looks to be sticking out quite a bit more than stock. Thats only 1", in the pic it looks like a couple inches or more. and what of the front poprocks? How much do they stick out up there?

Default Not enough offset

I changed my username
here's the specs on those wheels
They do rub on good bounce
Offset depends on overall width
18x11 with 36et worked for another member
3mm is about a 1/8.

18x9 30et 275 front 18x10 25et 295 rear
