Default C68 A/C Problem

I have a 96 CE with the C68 option A/C. Having intermittent issues with the system not working correctly. Sometimes when using the A/c or heat in the auto mode, regardless of the temp, the fan will not run. If I switch to manual mode, I still can not get the fan to run on any setting or mode. Then at other times the system works correctly. I have gone thru the trouble shooting in the FSM and have no codes at all. I have removed and cleaned the contacts on the control unit, tried changing the control unit and changed the blower motor resistor under the hood. The car had an issue with vacuum leaks when I purchased the car and I had to remove and by-pass the vacuum connector at the programmer module under the dash. Not sure where to go from here. Has anybody else run into this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Fan motor, fan motor relay, control head may need to be taken out and apart and clean ALL the contacts with electrical cleaner and pencil eraser. DON't GET ANTHING on the black face or radio duslo bezel.

It ended up being an intermittent problem with the fan motor. I guess it has a dead spot in the windings so it won't start sometimes. Changed it out and fixed the problem.
