Default Replacement 84 power steering reservoir

So my power steering fluid reservoir has developed some leaks and is making a mess of the alternator and the engine around it. Has anyone found a replacement for the reservoir or am I going to be stuck trying to patch it and/or jerry-rigging a non-standard reservoir?
Thanks,
Reed

You could buy a used one. I have one that is available if you want it:

Appreciate the offer, but I'm looking for a reservoir for a 1984. Any place that sells them says they're discontinued or out of stock.
Thanks,
Reed

Sorry. I thought the '84 - '91 was the same reservoir.

84 was its own special unique year. I would just update to the 85 and move on.

Is there a way to easily retrofit to the later style reservoir, or did you mean just get an '85 Vette? haha Yes, the 84 was a special year...

Update to the 85 reservoir. Should be as simple as two hoses and the reservoir. Just check to see if the frame where the reservoir mounts has the holes already.

The '85^ reservoir mounts to the "wonder bar". Doesn't matter if it has holes or not; GM used self tappers.

I am having the same struggle with my power steering reservoir. I have been searching every known Corvette part supplier and all of the used parts shops I could find but to no avail. I am tempted to try a reservoir from an 85 and "make it work".

Where are you located in Virginia? I likely have one and also pump.

**This would be correct for '84

I was hoping you were in NOVA (Loudoun - Winchester) and I could just meet and you could decide. If you're interested I'll try to locate the box it's stored away in.
