A home grown LT4 Automatic
First my apologies to Bill and Eric Fischer for being so late in getting to this.
We all know every stock LT4 came from the factory with the Manual 6 speed transmission.
Well Bill Fischer, owner of a Collector Edition LT4 and his son Eric did what needed to be done to make the car more comfortable for Bill to drive.
My commendations to Eric for getting the job done and to Bill for bearing through the conversion.
This car is very consistent and has made it to three finals this year and 3 Corvette Challenge ladders both with Bill and Eric driving.
Congrats Gentlemen.

Re: A home grown LT4 Automatic (Rick93Z07)
I think they have everything to put the car back to stock when and if they decide to sell it. The car is a real steady runner now and both Bill and Eric are having consistant times with it. I've run against them in both setups and I did way better when the car was a stick. Nice job Eric on the install.

I know it's old...That's what's funny about it
Check out this link...http://www.corvettechallenge.info/billfischer.shtml
It states, "As Eric says, "we're not totally out of the woods, yet". There are still some "kinks" to work out. He's going to put together a website soon outlining the technical and mechanical challenges he has encountered "along the way" (look for a link in his Corvette Forum signature soon). See you at the next Corvette Challenge race."
....So, after 9 years, It is to be posted SOON? The website should either be changed, or the info should be posted.
