Tossed old crispy on the dyno today
Not too shabby for an old carbureted small block with a procharger.
Spun the tires above 90mph on the dynojet dyno, so I imagine the torque curve would have stayed up and hp would have been a bit higher. I had them shut it down at 6,000rpm
My dad used to run this combo, and it laid down 570ish rwhp.
All in all, I'm happy. The car is an absolute blast to drive, torque on demand and plenty of power to push about 3,000lbs w/driver.

stock cast short block.
D44 and stock 4+3 trans
3.45 gears from a 96 GS
haven't broken any half shafts yet, I'm very gentle on the launch.

the clear was gone by the time I got the car, and I had a ton of body work to do, so I would up plasti-dipping it matte red when I was done. The car isn't straight enough for paint, dip seems to work fine.
btw, that's an old TPF carbon fiber hood from the early 90's
