LT1 Procharger - are you seeing the gains?
Hello All... I love my C4... ALOT.
I am considering a C5 Z06 or sticking with my baby and adding a little more STREETABLE muscle under the hood.
It looks like this is about a $6K upgrade, are you setting the bang for the buck here? Are you still streetable?
Help a fellow owner out...

Blower wont reduce the streetability, cams with too much overlap may. Boost is too much fun

93 Lt1. Stock 350 bottom end
p600b, 2.75” pulley, 12.5 psi boost at 6000 rpm
afr 195 comp ported heads, bigger cc chambers drop CR down to 9.7:1
meth/water inj (no intercooler)
2224/236 lloyd elliot cam
arh 1 7/8” stepped headers and 3” dual exhaust
520-540ish rwhp on dynojet
dont buy prochargers lt1 kit. It has flaws
must buy kit from blowerworks or you will pay 2x to correct the belt slipping flaws inherent to their corvette kit !!

To get that kind of rwhp out of a Z06 you are going to have to throw a bunch of money at it too. Stock C5Z is maybe 350-360 rwhp. You'll have to boost it too plus the cost of the car. Is your LT1 car a 6 speed or an auto? May need to factor in strengthening the trans and rear end if you have an automatic.

two different animals. F/I c4 done right is a total animal. The LS1 is a better engine stock. Depends on what you want. The c4's do take a lot of boost stock. MoBandy ran a 130k stock lt1 with 13psi for quite a while and didn't grenade it. That's who initially tuned my car.

OP is asking about supercharging his C4 as opposed to buying a C5 Z06. So my point was, with the Z putting down roughly 350 rwhp, to reach the kind of power diz was talking about OP would still have to sink a bunch of money into the C5 Z06 plus the purchase price.

I have a C4 now, a 1995... it's stock. Just wondering if supercharging the LT1 was a cheaper route than a stock C5Z (2004 model) to get into the 400HP club.
I sense adding the $5K or the super charger may be cheaper than a $20K C5Z?
